Helping out someone who was injured

Mori was waiting for their tea to finish so they just decided to play with Noire to keep them entertained. Abigail and Liam were over today but they were both out exploring the area around Mori’s farm.

“Mori! Mori! Come draw with meee!!!!” Noire jumps up and down in front of Mori.

“Alright, just let me make sure the area is clean before we draw.” Mori says cleaning up the table for the both of them to draw. They grab some paper and some ink.

They drew for a while until Liam barged in.

“MORI!” Liam yells, panicking “We found someone injured nearby!”

“Eh? Give me a second, let me grab the first aid kit.” Mori says moving, turning and opening up a cabinet “You’re gonna have to carry Noire though, since I can’t leave them here alone. Don’t let them near the person injured either.”

“Alright, Abigail is with the injured person right now so let’s go!” Liam picks up Noire and starts running out the door.

Mori sighs “At least close the door behind you.” As they walk out and shut the door and runs in the same direction as Liam.

When Mori looks at the injured bot, they look slightly confused “What are they doing here? It’s at least like 30 minutes away from the nearest city. But we’re gonna have to take them there. Since their injuries are pretty bad.” They start to patch them up a little bit to prepare them for the ride to the hospital.

“How can you tell that they aren’t from this area?” Abigail asks, helping Mori with covering some of the wounds.

“I know most of the other farmers in this area. It’s basically one big collective here. As well as not many from the cities come far out to this area since we still have to deal with aberrations sometimes. I’d probably call an ambulance, since I’m pretty sure they’ve been poisoned.”

“I’ll call one right now, but probably won’t be here as fast since we’re kind of far from the city.”

“As long as we keep them stable they should be fine. But it just depends on how long the ambulance takes to get here. We also don’t know how long they’ve been here either though..”

Half an hour later… 

“I hope they’ll be okay.” Abigail says

“The hospital staff have probably dealt with aberration poison, since it is uncommon for someone to get poisoned around here,” Mori says looking at Liam playing with Noire nearby “Though I am curious, why would someone be left in the woods in an area far away from the city.”

“There have been coordinates put online that some may have fallen for. Those were posted by accounts that are assumed to be run by cult members.” Liam says while continuing to play with Noire

“Oh really? Are there really other bots that are that gullible? I thought they would know at least some internet safety.”

“Yeah most of us should, but some are not careful enough.” Abigail says, then starts scrolling through a social media app “To be honest pretty much everywhere is flooded with conspiracy theories among other stuff. But I’ve been avoiding any online interaction other than lurking since you don’t know if the person behind the screen is a cult member or not.”

“I mean that is true, I’m going to go head back inside. You three can come back in when you’re done.”
