Elrarithian Cult

No one is quite sure how or when aberrations started to appear on Poltera, but many blame the elusive cult of Gnidaranh to be the origin of the deadly beasts. Aberrations are mutated SoftBots, deformed by a disease similar to the zombie plague. Those affected by the scourge are nothing but mindless killing machines. Once contracted through a bite, there is no cure or treatment. The only mercy is to be euthanized before the mind deteriorates and deformaties appear.

Although not much is known about the cult, what is known is they worship and praise aberrations. In fact, the nation they originate from -- Gnidaranh -- have the highest amount of aberrations on the planet. The plains are considered the most dangerous place on Poltera. Thousands of aberrations have been known to roam there and even in daylight.

It is unknown why, but they are suspected of using the Multiple Eye Mod as a way of membership. The mod has been condemned in Gnidaranh because of the suspected usage and anyone with the mod is under close watch. The government also believes they hide in the northern part of the country where surveillance is thin.

The cult is responsible for how militarized the Gnidaranh Empire has become. Many believe it's because of the past war, but the nation seeks to protect civilians by any means necessary. Popular opinion is that the cult is at war with Gnidaranh, but because of their elusive nature, they have survived for decades if not centuries.
