SoftBots with magic afflictions find themselves weakened when near an element that's strong against their own (example: a fire magic afflicted SoftBot weakens near water.)
Examples:
Fire affliction: fire breath, singed pelt that smokes at the tips, boiling blood, potential to explode into fire.
Water Affliction: extremely local rain summoning, bloodbending-esque abilities. The hardest affliction to control, no matter what an afflicted SoftBot tries, the force behind their ability is either too much or too little… also the rarest affliction.
There are many more afflictions depending on the magic being practiced, with many different outcomes!
